NAPDRT AT MOBILE TECH EXPO – LAS VEGAS
New-Member Signups, Seminars And More…
By Mike Wahl, NAPDRT President
NAPDRT Board members helped out at organization’s booth during MTE – Las Vegas, using the occasion to meet and sign up new members.
Well, another Mobile Tech Expo is in the books! MTE Las Vegas was a great time, and it was a busy week. I saw a lot of new faces along with some familiar ones. And I was really happy to see and meet our new members who signed up at the Show—you know who you are and we thank you for joining the movement!
On Education Day, NAPDRT presented three seminars. The sessions, led by members of the NAPDRT Board of Directors, included “PDR 101”—an introduction to the PDR world—and “Scan Tools for PDR Tech,” which focused on the latest technology and pre- and post-scans. The third session, “A Peek at the Show Floor” offered a preview of the latest tools, equipment and services on the Show floor.
Speaking of tools, tools and more tools. There was a fair share of great tools to be had, and I must admit I did indulge in a few Show specials! The Dent Trials was a new experience, too, and I’m pretty sure it won’t be the last time we’ll see it.
The Dent Trials, a brand-new feature unveiled in Las Vegas, gave PDR pros a chance to show off their technical talents.
I also owe a big thank you to the NAPDRT Board members who were able to take the time to help out during the Show—Tory Jenkins, Randy Lockdall, Crystal Ellison, Len Cicchiello and Carl Stuckey. Thanks for the help, everyone—even something as simple as bringing a smile and a cup of coffee was appreciated!
Well, I’m going to go outside now and wait on the delivery truck to bring all the stuff I ordered at the Show—nothing like Christmas in September! Then it’s back to work and get things done. I hope everyone has a great month and enjoys the cooler weather.
