Plans for 2020 and Announcement of Awardees

Orlando, Florida………….The 18^th annual Mobile Tech Expo celebrated the mobile automotive appearance, enhancement, and recon industry January 10-12 at the Orange County Convention Center. With educational sessions and an all-new trade show floor, over 3,000 attendees met with paintless dent repair, detail equipment, wax & polish, chemicals, wheel and glass repair companies.

Highlights of the show included: a keynote address by, Dennis Gage, Host of My Classic Car TV Show, the annual Dent Olympics and recognition of the people who have donated time and energy to improve the industry.

Kevin Halewood, Show Director and founder exclaimed, “It was an amazing gathering of the best in the automotive enhancement community. We listened to all the suggestions attendees and exhibitors gave us and we’re excited for the changes to come. We want to continue to bring excitement to the Show floor for new products, new ideas, and the networking opportunities we’re able to provide.”

The new venue and headquarter hotel brought ups and downs. Show management listened and the 2020 Mobile Tech Expo will be using a new headquarter hotel and show venue.

Following the closing of the show, the following winners for the Dent Olympics were announced:

• 2nd Place: Simon Noel of Carrossier Express in Canada
• 3rd Place: Sean Bayne of Dent Wizard International in MO
• 4th Place: Jeff Holdaway of Dent Solutions NW in WA
• 5th Place: Travis Winger of Dentbusters in IA
• 6th Place Heracio Bento of Jersey Dent in NJ
• 7th Place Herivelto Malosti of Northern CP Auto Reconditioning in CO

The following awards were also announced:

The Rufus Lowery Memorial, PDR Mentor Award: Gene Fetty

The Tom Nations Memorial. PDR Person of the Year Award:  Craig Dyer
